Huadu belongs to South China and is a district of Guangzhou. Huadu District was designated as a county in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in April 1960. On June 18, 1993, with the approval of the state, it was withdrawn from the county and set up as a city, named &”;Huadu&”;. On May 21, 2000, it was withdrawn from the city and divided into districts. It is known as the north gate and back garden of Guangzhou. Huadu District governs Xinhua Street, Xinya Street, Xiuquan Street, Huacheng Street, Huashan Town, Chini Town, tanbu town Town, Shiling Town, Timian Town and Huadong Town, and there are overseas Chinese, overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao. The intangible cultural heritage projects in Huadu District include clay sculpture, Wang Birthday, Southern Lion, Cantonese Opera, Huadu Lantern Festival, Ruiling bonsai, Chinese enamel making skills, Hakka folk songs and so on.
