Gull Island is located opposite Lianhua Mountain in Panyu, Guangzhou. It is the only undeveloped green original fishing island at the entrance of the Pearl River. Shamian Island, perhaps the most European-style place, is located in the west of Guangzhou and on the White Swan Pond of the Pearl River. It is a famous foreign affairs tourist area and historical relics protection area in Guangzhou.
Ersha Island and Guangzhou Bridge are not far from the upstream of Haixinsha Island, and the newly-built Liede Bridge is not far from the downstream, with Haizhu Island in the middle of the Pearl River in the south and Guangzhou land in the north. At night, under the light of Guang Zhouta, it illuminates the whole sea sand, which is beautiful.
Hengban Island is located on both sides of the main channel of Humen Waterway in the Pearl River Estuary, and the middle stream of the Pearl River crosses the foothills. Because it blocks the flood of the Pearl River on the upper side and the tide in the South China Sea on the lower side, it is called Upper and Lower Hengban Island. It guards the throat of the Pearl River outlet.
Xiaoguwei Island is located on the south extension axis of Guangzhou and in the metropolitan area. There are not only modern historical relics culture represented by Huangpu Military Academy, but also traditional and modern Lingnan garden culture represented by Yuyin Mountain House and Baomo Garden, as well as modern urban culture marked by Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center and Guangzhou Biological Island.
