Xiaozhou Village, located in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, was founded in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. It is an ancient village &”;Xiaozhou&”; with the most characteristics of Lingnan water town found in Guangzhou urban area. It has been listed as one of the first batch of 16 historical and cultural protected areas in Guangzhou, and has been rated as an ecological village in Guangdong Province.
Xiaozhou Village is adjacent to the south channel of the Pearl River in the south, facing Panyu across the river, facing Paifang River in the east, facing Guanzhou Island and Luntou, and connecting Tuhua Village in the northwest. Xiaozhou Village, formed by the alluvial of the Pearl River for thousands of years, covers an area of 6,013.8 mu, and its rivers are 10 kilometers long. Villagers have grown fruits for a living for generations, and there are lots of fruit trees. Yingzhou Ecological Park and the nearby fruit forest cover about 20,000 mu, which is known as &”;South Lung&”; in Guangzhou.
There is still the last small bridge and flowing water family in Lingnan water town. Walking into Xiaozhou Village is like walking into a folk museum. Folk houses are built along the river, and residents live by the river. The hundred-year-old banyan trees can be seen everywhere, and the oyster shell houses of five or six hundred years old witness the once-sea in Lingnan. Every ancient well that crosses between the crisscross roads has been deposited for hundreds of years.

1. You can take bus BRT 25 (from tianhe sports center to Gangding) and get to the living quarters, then transfer to bus No.35, No.565 and No.310 and get off at Yingzhou Ecological Park Station. It takes about 40 minutes to get there.
2. Take the subwayTake the No.86 bus at Exit D of higher education mega center south and get off at Yingzhou Ecological Park Station.
3. Take the subway, exit at Exit D of Kecun Station, take bus No.252 and get off at Xiaozhou, Xiaozhou Village, Xiaozhou Village Entrance or Yingzhou Ecological Park Station; Take bus No.468 and get off at Xiaozhou South Road, Xiaozhou Village or Xiaozhou Station.
