There are currently four universities in Zhaoqing. 1. First of all, Zhaoqing University is the best, which is an undergraduate college. Located in the scenic spot of Xinghu Lake, formerly known as Xijiang University. 2. Secondly, Guangdong Vocational College of Industry and Commerce, a tertiary institution, is located near Qixingyan tourist area. 3. Guangdong Institute of Technology (Zhaoqing Vocational College of Science and Technology) was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2014, which is divided into Gaoyao Campus and Dinghu Campus. Zhaoqing Medical College, formerly known as Zhaoqing Branch of Sun Yat-sen Medical College. Another is that Guangdong University of Finance has a branch campus in Zhaoqing, but it does not belong to Zhaoqing University.
