G45/S41 Daguang Expressway (former Jiebei Expressway and Airport Expressway): Conghua Str—— Huadu B—— Baiyun Airport, ——, Guangzhou Sanyuanli, and the line includes S41 Guangzhou Airport Expressway, which is not counted separately. Jiebei was opened to traffic in 2019 and the airport was opened to traffic in 2001.

G55/S55 —— Zhaoqing Huaiji —— Foshan Sanshui —— Nanhai Yayao Interchange, with lines including S55 Guangsan Expressway, which was opened to traffic in 1998 and Guanghe in 2019.

G1501 Guangzhou Ring Expressway (formerly North Second Ring Road, East Second Ring Road, West Second Ring Road and South Second Ring Road): Guangzhou Luogang Huocun Interchang—— Guangzhou Huadu Longshan Interchang—— Foshan Nanhai Xiaotang Interchang—— Foshan Nanhai Jiujiang Interchang—— Nansha Tung Chung Interchange, North Second Ring Road in 2001, East Second Ring Road at the end of 2019, West Second Ring Road at the end of 2019 and South Second Ring Road at th—— Guangshen Wudianmei Interchang—— Taiping Interchang—— Hum—— Nansha Pavilion Corner and Humen Bridge were opened to traffic in 1998.

G107 Guangqing Expressway (national highway and expressway are co-linear, and listed separately here) was opened to traffic in 1992 from Qingfeng to Huadu, in 1999 from Huadu to Qingyuan, and in 2004 from Qingfeng to Beihuan.

There are currently 15 provincial expressways/urban expressways passing through or around Guangzhou (note: provincial expressways on the same line as national expressways are not included).

S1 Guangle Expressway (under construction): Huadu Huashan —— Qingyuan Yingd—— Shaoguan Ruyuan —— Lechang.

S2 Guangh—— Zengch—— Huizhou Longm—— Heyuan Puqian. It was opened to traffic on January 6, 2019.

S3 Guangzhou-Sh—— Dongguan Hum—— Sh—— Sh—— was opened to traffic on January 18th, 2019, and the Humen-Shenzhen section is scheduled to open to traffic at the end of 2019.

S5 Guangming Expressway (under construction): Panyu, Guangzhou, ——, Guangzhou South Railway Station, Chencun, Shund——, ——, Nanhai, Foshan, Xiqiao, ——, Gaoming, and the Xiqiao-Gaoming section was opened to traffic on June 25th, 2019.

S15 Guangzhou Branch Line of Shenhai Expressway (including Huocun-Huangcun, Beihuan Expressway, Guangfo Expressway and Xiebian-Jiujiang Section of Fokai —— North Ring of Luogang Huocun, Shab—— North Ring, Yayao in —— Nanhai, Jiujiang in —— Nanhai, in which Guangfo Expressway was opened to traffic in 1989 and Fokai Expressway was opened to traffic in 1996.

S16 Paijie Expressway: Conghua Str——, Zengcheng, opened to traffic in August 2019.

S39 Dongxin Expressway: Guangzhou Fangcun Dongsha —— Guangzhou South Railway Station —— Panyu Shawan —— Nansha Xinlian. It was opened to traffic on December 31, 2019.

S43 Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Line Expressway: Guangzhou Fangcun —— Zhongshan Dongsh—— Zhuhai Nanping —— Macau, Phase I Fangcun to Bijiang section in 2004, Phase II Bijiang to Dongsheng section in 2019, Phase III Dongsheng to Tanzhou Yuehuan section in 2019, and Yuehuan to Nanping section in 2019.

S81 Guangzhou Ring —— W—— Huangcun, ——, Luntou, South Ring Road. On December 18, 1993, the entire North Ring Road was opened to traffic; The section from Guangzhou Nitrogen to Dongpu was opened to traffic at the end of October 1997; Dongpu-Sanjiao section was opened to traffic on February 12, 1999; On December 2 of the same year, the section from Hainan to Xunfengzhou was opened to traffic; The whole line was opened to traffic on Jun—— Nanhai Imperial Kiln, Nanzhuang, Chanch——, B—— (where the east line of Foshan First Ring Road is close to the west ring section around Guangzhou), opened to traffic on Nov—— Panyu Asian Gam—— Nansha H—— Nansha Port Area.

S302 Nansha Port Express Yuhuang Branch Lin——, Nansha Huangge, opened to traffic on December 31, 2004.

S303 South China —— North Ring Cencun Interchang—— Tianh—— Baiyun District Shatai —— Baiyun District Chaoyang, Huakuai Phase I Panyu Bridge to Cencun Section in June 1999, Phase II Cencun to Taihe Section at the end of 2004, and Phase III Chungang to Chaoyang Section were opened to traffic on June 22, 2019.

Guangyuan expressway: Tianhe Olympic Sports C——, guangzhou east railway station, Huancheng Road in Xintang, Zengch—— and Dongguan, ——, opened to traffic in December 2003.

Xinguang Expressway: Xinyi Middle Road in Haizhu District to Panyu Guangming North Road was opened to traffic on January 20, 2019 and Liede Bridge was opened to traffic on July 30, 2019.
