There has been such a discussion about &”;the essence of education&”;: the educational policy says that the quality of education is to cultivate children&;s development in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects. But now, from local leaders to school teachers and parents, they all think that the enrollment rate is quality, and the test scores are quality, which runs counter to the requirements of the education policy. And judging good students is based on exam results, obedient and disobedient, teachers&; personal likes and dislikes, not on the correct educational policy, not on innovative talents. This view of students has stifled many courageous and innovative talents.
