Who is the sculpture in Haizhu Square?

The main body is a PLA soldier with a millet bag on his shoulder, a mauser pistol on his left, a bullet belt around his waist, a rifle in his right hand, a bouquet of flowers in his left hand, and his head held high. The statue is integrated with the square seat, just like a huge stone carved into one side, which is in Guangzhou. The front of the statue is engraved with the inscription of the first mayor of Guangzhou after liberation: &”;October 14, 1949 to commemorate the liberation of Guangzhou&”;, and the four corners are engraved with the seal &”;All power belongs&”;.
