Chigang Middle School and Xinjiao Middle School in Haizhu District of Guangzhou are junior high schools, and there is no senior high school. Guangzhou Chigang Middle School (officially renamed Guangzhou Jingzhong Experimental Middle School on April 18, 2013) is located on the south bank of the beautiful Pearl River, next to the ancient Chigang Tower, and was founded in 1989. It is a full-time public junior high school supporting the community. The school covers an area of 13762m², with a building area of 12,872m. At present, there are 24 classes in three grades of junior high school with more than 1000 students. Guangzhou Xinjiao Middle School is located in the southeast of Haizhu District. In September 2003, it was formed by the merger of the former He Guirong Memorial Middle School and Tuhua Middle School. The school implements one school and two districts, unified management and teaching by districts. Guangzhou Xinjiao Middle School is Guangzhou Science Fiction Painting Project School, Haizhu District Animation Characteristic School and Haizhu District Moral Education Demonstration School. It is a public junior middle school in the east, which is mainly developed by Haizhu District Committee, Haizhu District and Haizhu District Education Bureau.
