The hotels over there are just so-so. I&;m a native of Guangzhou, and I basically don&;t go to Shanghai. It is suggested to choose Yuexiu Park or Haizhu Square on Metro Line 2 (night tour along the Yangtze River and the Pearl River, which is also close to Beijing Road). Hotels near Tianhe on Metro Lines 1 and 3 are more comfortable and convenient to go to Xiaoman Waist. There&;s an air No.1 in the new financial center, where you can have tea and eat. It&;s small and expensive, and the sky scenery is good. You can see the whole Guang Zhouta (small waist) and the sail-shaped venue where the Asian Games are performed.
There are many places for morning tea. If you live near Haizhu Square, go to Yindeng of Huaxia Hotel or Guangzhou Hotel or Dongjiang nearby. The first two are tea drinking spots frequented by Laoguang, and the price is even and real than Daoxiang. There is also a Donghai seafood restaurant on the other side of Haizhu Square, where drinking tea or eating is also good.
Since the chef changed a few years ago, the products of Taotaoju in Shangxiajiu are much worse, but the environment is ok and has a little charm.
