In the face of such high housing prices in Guangzhou, public rental housing is obviously more than commercial housing. However, at present, the supply of public rental housing in Guangzhou is less than the demand. Although the policy of public rental housing has really benefited the people, many people have not enjoyed the convenience of public rental housing due to the shortage of housing. In order to change this problem, Guangzhou has launched 4,006 sets of public rental housing for registered families in this city, with 23 housing sites distributed in five districts of Baiyun, Liwan, Haizhu, Tianhe and Huangpu, providing four types of apartments: one room, one living room, two living rooms and one living room, and three living rooms and one living room.
It is worth mentioning that among the 23 housing sites involved in the allocation, 6 housing sites are public rental housing projects built by real estate developers in commercial housing communities, which is the first time that developers have participated in the allocation of public rental housing for registered households in Guangzhou. This time, Guangzhou launched 4,006 sets of public rental housing for registered families in this city. These projects are all elevator buildings. According to the published rent standards, the most expensive ones are Guangdan Garden and Tangyue Garden in Tianhe District (namely Tangde Garden Project), with the rent of 33 yuan /m2/ month, followed by Evergrande Yufu and Kaisa Tianyuyuan, 32 yuan /m2/ month, and the rent of public rental housing in Huangpu District is as low as 16 yuan /m2/ month. Last year, it was announced that the public rental housing equipped with Huadu Poly Aipu Garden has the lowest monthly rent, which is only 5 yuan /m2/ month.
