Which do you prefer, plum, orchid, bamboo or chrysanthemum?

Actually, I like them all, but I prefer bamboo. Su Shi wrote a poem: &”;You can eat without meat, and you can&;t live without bamboo. No meat makes people thin, and no bamboo makes people vulgar. &”; Bamboo is very beautiful, and it has an extraordinary charm wherever it grows. Like bamboo, I often tell my children that I will go back to the countryside when I am old. There is a pond in front of the house and a large bamboo forest behind it. Then raise a flock of pigeons in the bamboo forest. Every morning, I release the pigeons and watch them chase and fight among the lush foliage. Life in old age will not be lonely. I remember when I was a child in my hometown, my grandfather planted a large piece of bamboo on the mountain behind my house. Every spring, small bamboo shoots sharpen their heads and emerge from the soil like pagodas. It&;s like a chick just hatched, looking for food everywhere. When I was a child, I liked to walk in the bamboo forest, driving my grandfather&;s chickens and running happily in the bamboo forest with my yellow dog. It was like being in a paradise, which made people forget all their troubles. I also like to watch grandpa cut down a big bamboo tree, peel off bamboo filaments, and weave them into small and lovely bamboo baskets, bamboo frames with beans and bamboo baskets for placing things. Grandpa also specially made up a small box for me to carry up the mountain to pick up mushrooms and hold bamboo shoots. But more often, that bamboo frame is used for me to fight pig grass. I like bamboo, not only because it can give people artistic beauty, but because it is noble, quiet and elegant. I love bamboo, appreciate it and praise it.
