In Shenzhen, Guangdong, there are 4 oilfields in the regional development project of Lufeng Oilfield Group. The main production facilities include 2 drilling platforms and 1 set of underwater production system. Lufeng 14-4 Oilfield put into production this time is the first oilfield of this project. In recent years, many old oilfields in the eastern South China Sea have entered the late stage of development, and the difficulty of stable production has gradually increased. Shenzhen limited its exploration to the deep Paleogene, and discovered several medium-sized oil and gas fields one after another. Lufeng 14-4 Oilfield is one of the representatives of deep oilfields, and its development difficulty is the highest in the history of the eastern South China Sea. The depth of the main oil layer of LF 14-4 Oilfield is between 3,100 meters and 4,300 meters, far exceeding that of conventional oilfields, so the technical development is difficult. LF 14-4 Oilfield is a deep complex fault-block low-permeability oilfield, mainly low-permeability and ultra-low-permeability reservoirs, with high development cost.
