1. You&;d better get off at guangzhou east railway station if you can. Because Guangzhou South Railway Station is in Panyu, far away from Guangzhou; Guangzhou stands at the junction of Yuexiu District and Baiyun District. Although it is the center of the city, many wholesale markets and bus stations around it are messy and the public security is not good. Guangzhou east railway station is located in Tianhe District, which is better than Guangzhou Railway Station, and there are subways (Line 1 and Line 3) coming out of the East Railway Station.
2. Xiaomanyao is at Chigangta Station of Metro Line 3, Chimelong Happy World is at Hanxi Chimelong Station of Metro Line 3, and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street is at BC Station of Metro Line 1.
3. There are three docks for the night tour of the Pearl River, which are boarded at Xidi Wharf, Tianzi Wharf and Dashatou Wharf respectively. None of these docks has direct subway access. If you want to go by subway, you can take Line 2 to Haizhu Square, and then transfer to a bus or walk there (it&;s a bit far to walk).
4. Shawan Ancient Town is located in Panyu, which is not the center of Panyu, and the subway is not available. You can get off at Shiqiao Station by subway line 3 and take a bus to Shawan Ancient Town at Shiqiao Bus Station.
5. It is quite convenient to book your hotel near the East Railway Station, which can be said to be the best of the three railway stations. It is a real estate business center in itself, and there is an underground shopping mall of Dongfang Baotai below. It is only two stops to go shopping in Tianhe City and Zhengjia Square by subway.
