This summer vacation, I flew back to Guangzhou from Xinjiang to reunite with my parents who had been away for three years. The excitement was beyond words. For many days in my new home in Guangzhou, I felt as if I were in a dream. The most impressive thing about visiting Guangzhou is its prosperity and beauty, but the most unforgettable thing is the experience of drifting in Qingyuan with my parents. One afternoon, we arrived in Qingyuan by bus, ready to start drifting. My heart was pounding and I got on the boat with a nervous mood. Then, the boat drifted faster and faster along the current, and my grip on the rope became tighter. The screams were enough to see how nervous and scared I was. Then a huge wave came quickly, and I didn&;t even have the courage to open my eyes. A series of chills made me unforgettable about this drifting experience. In several days of close contact with nature, I feel more and more the magnificence of the motherland&;s mountains and rivers, and feel how proud I am as a human being.
