Self-employed individuals can go through the social insurance payment procedures at the individual payment window of the collection department of the social security agency where the household registration is located.

The social insurance types that self-employed individuals can participate in include endowment insurance: basic endowment insurance and local supplementary endowment insurance; Medical insurance: comprehensive medical insurance, local supplementary pension insurance and maternity medical insurance.

Information to be provided by the self-employed insured:

Copy of my ID card (original inspection) and copy of my household registration book (original inspection);

Proof of the party with whom it has economic relations must be presented, such as: paid industrial and commercial management fee documents, tax registration and tax payment documents;

A copy of the account name and account number page of my savings bank opened in one of the local CCB, BOC, ABC and ICBC (original inspection);

Proportion of individual contributions paid by self-employed individuals to buy social security:

1. Old-age insurance: 19% of my monthly salary, of which 18% is basic old-age insurance and 1% is local supplementary old-age insurance;

2. Medical insurance: 9% of my monthly salary, of which 8% is comprehensive medical insurance, 0.5% is local supplementary endowment insurance and 0.5% is maternity medical insurance.
