Hello, Guangzhou International Financial Center, commonly known as &”;West Tower&”;, was developed and built by Yuexiu Real Estate and completed in November 2009. The tower is 432 meters high and has 103 floors. Guangzhou International Financial Center is located in the core financial and business district of Zhujiang New Town, on the new central axis of the city, bordering Zhujiang Avenue in the east, Huaxia Road in the west, Huajiu Road in the south and Huacheng Avenue in the north, surrounded by five-star hotels and high-grade office buildings. Together with Guangdong Provincial Museum, Guangzhou Grand Theatre, Guangzhou Library and Guangzhou Second Children&;s Palace, it constitutes five landmark buildings of Zhujiang New Town. The design scheme of Guangzhou International Financial Center was selected from 12 schemes collected by the international invitation competition organized by Guangzhou Urban Planning Bureau in 2004, and its design concept is &”;transparent crystal&”;. The building structure adopts the structural system of concrete filled steel tubular giant skew net outer tube and reinforced concrete shear wall inner tube, which is the only example in the world.
