Hu&;s Ancestral Hall is the ancestral hall of Hu Fu, a senior minister of the Ministry of War, and Hu Zongxian, a senior minister of the Ministry of War in Ming Dynasty. Founded in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, the building faces south with a building area of 1,146 square meters. There is a zhaobi across the river. Three-in and seven-in rooms. The gatehouse was originally hung with the inscription &”;Longchuan Hushi Ancestral Hall&”; written by Wen Zhiming in Ming Dynasty, while the main hall was originally hung with the inscription &”;Ancestral Hall&”; by Guangze Wang (uncle of Jiajing Emperor).
Qianjin is a tall gatehouse with a width of 22 meters. There are six stone pillars, five moon beams and four square beams in the front and back directions of the gatehouse, which are rigorous in structure and symmetrical in layout. Various exquisite patterns are carved on the beam surface: the first one in the middle is engraved with &”;Nine Lions Rolling the Ball Everywhere&”;, the second one is engraved with &”;Nine Dragons Playing with Beads All over the Sky&”;, and the wooden beams on both sides are engraved with historical operas with different contents.
Zhongjin is the main hall of the ancestral hall, where ceremonies are held. It consists of 14 ginkgo cylinders with a circumference of 166 cm and 19 wax gourd beams. There are colorful clouds and streamers carved on the beam support, and dragons, phoenixes, lions and tigers carved in the middle.
On both sides of the main hall, there are floor-to-ceiling windows and doors as high as Zhang Yu. Each window is cut with a hollowed-out lattice and a flat-plate flower carving. The content is mainly lotus flowers, which are different from budding, blooming lotus petals and flowers with lotus flowers. Leaves are divided into big rolls and small turns, flat water, stretching like an umbrella and drooping like a hat. The space on the screen is decorated with lively images such as birds flying in the blue sky, fish diving at the bottom, ducks playing in blue waves, frogs jumping over the lotus pond, ducks crossing their necks and mussels stretching, which are lifelike, interesting and ingenious.
Backward is the dormitory, up and down two gears. There are vases carved on the doors and windows, which are made by the combination of relief and shallow carving.
