The conditions for applying for the tourist guide card are as follows:

Professional experience: having obtained the tour guide qualification certificate for 3 years, or having obtained the tour guide qualification certificate for 2 years with a college degree or above, and having actually taken the tour group for no less than 90 working days within 3 years before applying for the exam (as of June 30, 2017, the same below), and showing good professional ethics during the tour group work.
3. Performance: Tour guides who have scored more than 4 points (including 4 points) at one time or scored 10 points in one year within 3 years before applying for the exam are not allowed to take the intermediate tour guide grade exam of that year.
The application conditions for advanced tour guide card are as follows:
1. Education requirements: Bachelor degree or above or junior college degree in tourism or foreign languages.
2. Professional experience: I have obtained the intermediate tour guide certificate for 3 years, and I have actually taken the tour as an intermediate tour guide for not less than 90 working days within 3 years before applying for the exam, and I have shown good professional ethics during the tour.
3. Performance: Tour guides who have scored more than 4 points at one time or accumulated 6 points within one year within 3 years before applying for the exam are not allowed to take the advanced tour guide grade exam of that year.
