What is the reason why many foreigners don&;t want to go into the deep house?

My own account was originally in Shantou. Because of the well-known reasons in Shantou, and I have been wandering outside, I decided to move my account out of Shantou. At that time, three alternative citi:, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Chengdu, were considered. The first one out is Chengdu. I have been to Chengdu, a very well-developed city, a major town in the southwest, with delicious food and tea houses everywhere, a comfortable pace of life, beautiful scenery and heavy historical accumulation. However, relatively speaking, the shortcomings are also obvious, mainly in the southwest corner of an, which is still a little behind the first-tier cities in terms of science and technology, education, medical care, transportation and economy. Then I began to hesitate between Shenzhen and Guangzhou for a long time, and finally chose Guangzhou. The biggest reason for abandoning Shenzhen is the housing price. As we all know, the housing price in Shenzhen has been fried into sky-high prices. Even if it is not completely over in April 2020, the average price of second-hand hous: is 67,352 yuan/flat, the average price of new houses is 46,191 yuan/flat, and the average salary in Shenzhen announced in 2019 is 9,890 yuan. How many families can afford such housing prices? And the fast-paced life is not suitable for me who is about to enter middle age. From the cultural point of view, although I am a northerner, I am very interested in Guangfu culture. However, Shenzhen, an immigrant city, is the least like Guangdong in Guangdong Province, and there is no historical accumulation. It is like a city without its own roots, such as ——, a floating stalk with a pan-ping. Of course, there is no irony here, because its advantages are obvious, and it can move forward lightly without historical burdens. In addition, Shenzhen is relatively short in transportation, medical care and higher education. From the perspective of GDP, among the four first-tier cities, Guangzhou has been in the last place, even being overtaken by the southwestern city of Chongqing (the GDP difference between the two cities in 2019 is only over 300 billion). However, Guangzhou is the birthplace of Guangfu culture, with a heavy historical and cultural accumulation. For example, Guangzhou brings together the essenc—— Cantonese cuisine, one of the four major cuisines. As the saying goes, &”;Food is in Guangzhou, taste is in Panyu&”;, and Guangzhou is also the transportation hub of the southern region. In terms of medical care, public transportation, higher education and other aspects related to people&;s livelihood, Guangzhou has an advantage over Shenzhen. In addition, compared with northern cities, I especially like the trees in Guangzhou. In Guangzhou, almost every overpass and overpass is decorated with green plants and flowers, which is rare in other cities. After years of unremitting governance, Guangzhou&;s once widely criticized public security has also been greatly improved. In terms of housing prices that I am obsessed with, Guangzhou seems to have no tradition of real estate speculation. In April 2020, the average price of second-hand houses in Guangzhou was 34,486 yuan/flat, down 0.67% from the previous month, and that of new houses was 31,614 yuan/flat, down 1.40% from the previous month. Among the four first-tier cities, house prices are the least like first-tier cities. In Zengcheng, Conghua, Huadu, Nansha and other remote suburbs, it can even be found in Shenzhen.Looking for a prefix or even a four-digit house price. Finally, I say a little thing. As we all know, Shantou is a city with a particularly strong clan concept, so it is very exclusive, and it is difficult for foreigners to integrate into the local culture and society. This left a great psychological shadow on me. So when I choose the city to take root again, I pay special attention to its inclusiveness. When I first chose Guangzhou, I didn&;t worry about the inclusiveness of the city. However, one little thing made my worry disappear. One afternoon in September last year, when I was working in Guangzhou, I was caught in a downpour when I walked to Panyu Bus Station. After the rain cleared, I took shelter from the rain in the waiting hall of the bus station and found that there were &”;canals&”; across in front of me. I was wearing leather shoes, but I couldn&;t wade through the water. What&;s worse, maybe the nearby sewage well was blocked, and a layer of disgusting oil was still floating on the accumulated water on the road. I stood in a small shop. At this time, a little girl with round glasses ran out of the grocery store, which seemed to be a primary school student in grade three or four. She handed me two plastic bags in her hand and said something in Cantonese to me. I didn&;t understand it, but I paused to react. She meant to let me put the plastic bags on my shoes so that I could swim across th——, not only to the little girl, but also to the city. Putting the plastic bag that the little girl gave me on my shoes, I really waded through the waterlogged road smoothly. In the evening, when I passed by here again when I came back from my work, I didn&;t know when the flooded road surface had been cleaned up. The shop was still open, with fluorescent lights on inside, and the little girl had disappeared. A middle-aged woman was guarding the shop while playing with her mobile phone. I went in and bought four bottles of water and a box of snacks to express my gratitude silently. A seemingly trivial matter made me feel the inclusiveness and gentleness of Guangzhou … In fact, of the three cities mentioned above, Guangzhou is the most difficult, followed by Chengdu, and Shenzhen is the easiest. But in the end, I chose Guangzhou without hesitation. In September 2019, it successfully entered Guangzhou through the green channel of talent introduction.
