Guangzhou City University of Technology (formerly Guangzhou College of South China University of Technology) is located in Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is a multi-disciplinary application-oriented university approved by the Ministry of Education with the coordinated development of economy, management, literature, science and art. Founded in 2006 by Guangzhou Yunfeng Enterprise and South China University of Technology, the school was transformed into Guangzhou City Institute of Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2021, which is an independent undergraduate private ordinary college. The school is a school of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students in Guangdong Province, a pilot school of intellectual property rights in Guangzhou, and the first IACBE international business certification university.
