On November 5, 2021, Baiyun Mountain was opened. Baiyun Mountain is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, with a geographical location of 113 17 ′ east longitude and 23 11 ′ north latitude. The terrain is slightly oblique rectangle, with a northeast-southwest trend, about 4 kilometers wide from east to west and 7 kilometers long from north to south. The mountain is quite wide and consists of more than 30 peaks, which is the branch of Jiulian Mountain, the highest peak in Guangdong. The whole area is 28 square kilometers, of which the area under special protection is 20.98 square kilometers.
