Sun Yat-sen University has five campuses: Sun Yat-sen University South Campus, Sun Yat-sen University North Campus, Sun Yat-sen University East Campus, Sun Yat-sen University Zhuhai Campus and Sun Yat-sen University Shenzhen Campus. Zhuhai campus is the largest. Sun Yat-sen University is located in the forefront of reform and opening up in Guangdong Province, on the banks of the Pearl River and the South China Sea. The total area is 6.17 square kilometers, Guangzhou campus covers an area of 1.17 square kilometers, North campus covers an area of 0.39 square kilometers, Guangzhou East campus covers an area of 1.13 square kilometers, and Zhuhai campus covers an area of 3.48 square kilometers.
