Brief introduction of Guangzhou Wharf:
Guangzhou is divided into inner port and outer port. Before 1986, there were Guangzhou Port Authority (under the jurisdiction of inner port) and Huangpu Port Authority (under the jurisdiction of outer port) respectively. In 1987, due to the development needs of Guangzhou, Guangzhou Port Authority merged with Huangpu Port Authority, collectively known as Guangzhou Port Authority.
Today, the inner port of Guangzhou mainly refers to the small docks in Xinfeng, Jiaoxin, Zhoutouzui and Fangcun. At present, these docks mainly operate imported goods, but export goods are relatively few. Barge companies often ferry containers that have been dismantled back to Huangpu Port for standby in the form of barges or trailers, because Guangzhou&;s inner port is under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Customs.
Huangpu Port Area is located in the east of Guangzhou, where the Pearl River meets Dongjiang River. As the administrative area is Huangpu District of Guangzhou, it is natural for people to refer to the wharves of Huangpu as Huangpu Port. There are 13 docks in Huangpu area, 7 of which are located in Laogang Port Area and 6 in Xingang Port Area (Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone). Seven wharves distributed in Huangpu Laogang Port Area are: Yongye Wharf, Jiali Wharf and Jiugang Grand Wharf from west to east; Wuchongkou Wharf; Guangyu Wharf; Miaotou Wharf; Jianxiang Wharf; These docks are all under the jurisdiction of Huangpu Old Port Customs. Among them, the Old Port Terminal is owned by Guangzhou Port Authority, Wuchongkou Terminal is owned by Sinotrans, Guangyu Terminal is owned by COSCO Group, and other terminals are more or less privately owned. As for HuangpuThe six wharves in Xingang Port Area extend into Dongjiang at the intersection of Dongjiang and Pearl River. From bottom to top, the docks are Jisi Wharf, Dongjiang Warehouse Wharf, Suigang Wharf, Quantong Wharf, Hong Kong-Macao Wharf and Guangbaotong Wharf. The Mid-term Suigang Wharf is under the customs jurisdiction of the Development Zone; Guangbaotong Wharf is under the customs jurisdiction of the bonded area; The remaining four docks are under the jurisdiction of Huangpu New Port Customs. In addition, Jisi Wharf is now a joint venture between Guangzhou Port Authority and port of singapore authority, and Dongjiang Warehouse is owned by Sinotrans. Suigang Wharf is a dual-purpose passenger and cargo wharf, and there is a direct service by flying passenger ships. Both the customs in the Development Zone and the Customs in the Bonded Zone are subordinate to the Huangpu New Port Customs, but the terminals under their jurisdiction cannot directly declare the import and export of goods to the Huangpu New Port Customs. Huangpu old port customs and Huangpu new port customs are enough to form Huangpu customs area. Trailers in the customs area are free, and there is no need to transfer customs, but as long as they enter the wharf under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Customs, they must transfer customs.
At present, only three of the 13 wharves in Huangpu have direct railways, which can be built in the wharves, namely, Jiali Wharf in the old port, Grand Wharf in the old port and Jisi Wharf in Huangpu New Port. Other docks don&;t provide the service of changing trains until they are in the dock.
The design water depth of the wharf front of Nansha New Port is -17 meters, and the current water depth is -14. 5 meters, the width of the harbor basin is 600 meters; Shipping companies such as Maersk, COSCO and China Shipping all hold shares. It is also worth mentioning that the new Nansha Port belongs to Guangzhou Customs. Please pay special attention when distributing goods for export.
