Now, the air tickets from Guangzhou to Ningbo are very cheap: there are 10 buses from Ningbo Airport to Zhujiajian Island Pier opposite Putuo Mountain every day. Even if you don&;t make it, it&;s very convenient to take a taxi or subway to Ningbo South Bus Station to change buses: Putuo Mountain can be visited in one and a half or two days. If you go to the island in the morning on the first day (arrive in shenjiamen or Zhujiajian Island one day in advance), then the following arrangements can be made:

After you arrive at Mount Putuo, you should arrange your check-in. (Hotel usually has shuttle service, and BB recommends Xishan District 2).
Then take the bus to the cableway station, visit Baotuo Temple and Wanfo Pagoda, then take the cableway up the hill and enter Huiji Temple.
Down the mountain along Xiangyun Road, you can see Haitian Buddha Stone and Yunfu Stone (the two stones overlap) along the way, and the Fayu Temple is at the foot of the mountain.
The Kowloon caisson in the Kowloon Hall of Fayu Temple is one of the three treasures of Putuo. After leaving Fayu Temple, you can go to nearby Yangzhi &;an to see another precious Yangzhi Guanyin monument.
Then you can take a bus to visit Fanyin Cave, then take a bus to Fusaiji East, visit Baibusha, and return to your residence before passing through Fusaiji. If it&;s still early, you can take a walk (about 1 hour) to the Xitian Scenic Spot, go up the hill from Xitian Ferry, see Guzhang (on the fork of the road), Heart Stone, Meifu Temple (alchemy cave), Pantuo Stone, Ergui Tingfa Stone and Guanyin Cave in turn, and then go down the hill to your residence.

In the morning, take a boat to Luojia Mountain at Duangu Wharf (about 2.5 hours round trip). After returning, you can visit Nantianmen, go to Zizhulin Temple (Chaoyin Cave, refused to go to Guanyin Temple), and then go to Guanyin Temple in Nanhai.
Then walk to Fusaiji and visit the shrine. If you didn&;t go to the Xitian Scenic Spot the day before, you can go there at this time. Pick up your luggage and leave the island.
If you have plenty of time, you can visit Zhujiajian Island, Taohua Island or Dongji Island near Mount Putuo, as well as Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo and Xuedou Mountain, the hometown of Jiang&;s family in Xikou.
