In October 1926, the National Revolutionary Army occupied three towns in Wuhan. On November 8th, the Kuomintang Central Political Conference decided to move the central party headquarters and nationals to Wuhan. On December 5th, the Kuomintang Central Committee officially announced that the Central Party Department had stopped working in Guangzhou, and the staff of various organs went to Wuhan in batches. On February 21st, 1927, Wuhan nationals officially worked.
