Sanben. Guangzhou Institute of Technology (formerly Guangzhou Institute of South China University of Technology), located in Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, is a multi-disciplinary applied university approved by the Ministry of Education, which focuses on engineering and develops economy, management, literature, science and art harmoniously. In 2006, it was founded by Guangzhou Yunfeng Enterprise and South China University of Technology. In 2021, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was transferred to Guangzhou City Institute of Technology, which is an independent undergraduate private institution of higher learning. The school is a model school of innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students in Guangdong Province, a pilot school of intellectual property rights in Guangzhou, and the first IACBE international business certification university.
