When I came to Xinjiang in late October, the scenery was like this. It was already winter in northern Xinjiang, and Kanas, Hemu and Baihaba in Altay were all wrapped in silver, looking at the scenery of Snow Country. Although it will snow in southern Xinjiang, there is little snow, and Populus euphratica forest is basically gone. As for other scenery, the snowy mountains and deserts will not be affected by the seasons. Sailimu Lake is basically beginning to freeze slowly now, but the scenery is still very beautiful. Ili grassland is also wrapped in white, and the grassland scenery is of course gone. At this time, I went to Ili to see the snow scene, but I went to Altay area to shoot. Because of the snow scenery, after all, there are coniferous forests, but the Ili grassland is snowy and the shooting effect is not as good as that in Altay area. If you have enough time, you can go to southern Xinjiang to shoot natural and cultural landscapes first, and then go to Altay area in northern Xinjiang to shoot snow scenes. The route is basically like this, starting from Urumqi to the Luobu village in Korla, the mysterious Grand Canyon in Kuqa, the Wensu Grand Canyon, the Tianmen Scenic Area in Artushi and Tashkurgan County (the scenery along the way is very beautiful), and then returning to the old city of Kashgar for a day to take pictures of the local cultural landscape. Take the desert highway from Hotan to Aral, then to Kuqa and then back to Urumqi-Altay-Baihaba-Kanas-Hemu-World ghost city-Sailimu Lake-Anjihai Grand Canyon, and take Provincial Highway 101 to Hutubi to return to Urumqi.
