There is too little time to visit the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shamian, Chenjia Temple, Xiaoman Waist and Yuexiu Park in one day, which is a bit difficult to arrange, but if we can have one and a half days, the time will be much more relaxed. If you stay, it is recommended to live near the subway station in front of the park or Haizhu Square subway station, which is more convenient for transportation. If you arrive by plane, you can take the airport express to Haizhu Square. If you live in the park, you can take a taxi or transfer to the subway. You can also take the North Extension Line of Metro Line 3 directly to Jiahe Wanggang Station and transfer to Metro Line 2, and get off at the park or Haizhu Square Station.
Day1: Sacred Heart Stone Chamber Church-Shamian-Chenjiaci-Small Waist.
Get up early the first morning, get off at Haizhu Square Station by subway, and have morning tea at Yindeng Restaurant on the third floor of Guangzhou Hotel in the north of Haizhu Square. Then walk to the Sacred Heart Stone Chamber Church on Yide Road, which is one of the most magnificent Gothic buildings with two minarets in China and is very ornamental. The stone church takes the measures of visiting in batches, so go a little earlier if you want to avoid spending time in line. After the tour, return to Haizhu Square Station, get off at the station by subway line 6, and go to Shamian for a tour. Shamian is a former concession, which retains various European-style buildings and is very foreign. You can play in Shamian until noon, then have lunch in Shamian, or go to Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street for dinner, taste Xiguan cuisine and go shopping by the way. There are many local time-honored restaurants or famous snacks around Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, such as Guangzhou Restaurant and Taotaoju. It&;s not far from Shangxiajiu to Chenjiaci. If you don&;t want to walk, you can take bus No.17 at Dexing Road Terminal near Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and then take bus No.2 to Chenjia.
