Haizhu Square belongs to Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, the southernmost part of which is separated from Haizhu District (Henan) by a river. Haizhu Square is a famous scenic spot with eight scenic spots in the old Yangcheng (Danxin, Zhuhai), the intersection of Yanjiang Road, Yide Road, Jiefang South Road, Qiyi Road and Taikang Road. There is the original Wuxianmen Power Plant on the west side of the square, the earliest Canton Fair Building and Guangzhou Hotel (27th floor) on the north side, and the overseas Chinese Summer in the east side. The movie [Yangcheng Underhill] [Chasing and Pursuing] was filmed on location here, which was the central axis of Guangzhou in the 1970s and 1980s.
