Take Metro Line 2 from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Haizhu Square Station, transfer to Metro Line 6 to Huangsha Station, and walk about 300 meters from the station to reach Shamian.
After visiting Shamian, you can return to Metro Line 6 (Huangsha Station or Cultural Park Station, depending on which subway station you are visiting), and take a seat at Yide Road Station in the opposite direction. Sacred Heart Cathedral is next to Wanlinghui of Yide Road.

After visiting CUHK, continue to take Metro Line 8 to Kecun Station, transfer to Metro Line 3 to Zhujiang New Town Station, then transfer to Line 5 to get off at Yuancun Subway Station, walk about 70 meters from Exit A to Chengjie West Station, take Bus No.293 (4 stops) and Bus No.44 (4 stops) to Linjiang Avenue East Station, and then walk 150 meters to the red brick factory.
