Guangzhou Huadu Baiyun International Airport was formerly the old Baiyun Airport, which was built in the 21st year (1932). In 1963, the name was changed to &”;Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport&”;. On August 5, 2004, the new Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was officially opened. In February 2015, the third runway of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was put into use. On April 26th, 2018, Terminal T2 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport was officially opened.
