Guangzhou Baiyun District postcod:510650 Baiyun District is a municipal district in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Its name comes from Baiyun Mountain. It is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, with abundant sunshine and rainfall and mild climate. It is adjacent to Huangpu District in the east, Nanhai District in Foshan City in the west, Huadu District, Conghua District in the north, Tianhe District, Yuexiu District and Liwan District in the south. It covers an area of 795.79 square kilometers, accounting for more than half of the area of the old eight districts in Guangzhou, with a population of 1,636,700. Baiyun District is the central city of Guangzhou with its suburbs.
