In order to protect mangroves and birds, when Binhai Avenue was built in early 1999, the city decided to move Binhai Avenue more than 200 meters north, afforest this 21-hectare construction land originally planned to build Binhai Avenue, and put the transformed mangrove waterfront ecological park under the management of mangrove nature reserve.
