A. issue a notice of intention to claim. (The Global Network School Supervision Engineer Channel will sort it out for you) After the claim event, the contractor shall submit a notice of claim intention to the engineer within 28 days after the claim event, stating that it will lodge a claim for this event. The notice of intention is the contractor&;s claim desire and requirement to the engineer and the employer on the specific claim event. If this time limit is exceeded, the engineer and the employer have the right to reject the contractor&;s claim. After the claim event, the contractor has the obligation to make a record of the site construction in the same period, and the engineer has the right to check and read it at any time to judge the actual damage caused by the claim event.
B. submit a claim report. Within 28 days after the submission of the notice of intention to claim, or other reasonable time that may be agreed by the Engineer, the Contractor shall deliver a formal claim report. The contents of the claim report should include: the cause of the incident, the evidence materials that affect its rights and interests, the basis of the claim, the amount of compensation required for this claim, the detailed calculation of the extension days of the construction period and other relevant materials.
If the influence of the claim event persists, and the claim amount and the extension days of the construction period cannot be calculated within 28 days, the contractor shall regularly report the claim evidence and claim for each time period at intervals reasonably required by the engineer (generally 28 days). Within 28 days after the impact of the claim event is over, a final detailed report is submitted, and the claim argumentation data and accumulated claim amount are put forward.
