Well, it takes at least one hour to take the subway from Guangzhou South Station to Guangzhou North Station, and it takes at least one hour from Guangzhou South Station (starting station) to Jiahe Wanggang (terminal station). Then you can transfer to Line 3 in the direction of Baiyun Airport at Jiahe Wanggang, sit in Gaozeng station and transfer to Line 9 (in the direction of Fei &;eling) to Guangzhou North Station. The ride time here is at least one hour. Plus the transfer time, you may be crowded if there are more people in line. It takes at least two and a half hours in the subway alone.
