(1) In 2010, Guangxi Nongken Yongxin Animal Husbandry Group Co., Ltd. won the first prize of national agricultural technology achievement for its &”;research and application of pseudorabies purification technology in large-scale pig farms&”;, and Liangqiyuan pig farm became one of the first batch of 16 pig breeding enterprises selected as &”;National Pig Core Breeding Farm&”; in China.
(2) At the beginning of January, 2011, &”;Yuantou Brand&”; (citrus) and &”;Fu&”; (navel orange) of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation won the title of &”;Guangxi Famous Trademark&”;. Up to now, six trademarks, such as Yongquan Brand (white sugar), Changling Brand (white sugar) and Camellia Mountain Brand (mineral water), have won the title of &”;Guangxi Famous Trademark&”;.
(3) On February 28th, 2011, the issuing ceremony of the first agricultural enterprise bond in Guangxi-1 billion yuan enterprise bond of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. was held in Nanning. This is another important measure taken by Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Group Company to broaden the financing channels of enterprises and promote industrial optimization and upgrading after successfully issuing two short-term bonds in the past two years and accumulating 2 billion yuan of financing. In April, Nanning Jiangnan National Village Bank, a village bank established in the first provincial capital city in China with shares of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Group, officially opened for operation.
(4) From February to April, 2011, Qin Huifen, a female farm worker in Qianjiang, was awarded the honorary title of &”;National May 1st Labor Medal&”; and &”;National May 1st Women&;s Model&”; by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions respectively.
(5) On April 2, 2011, a major project with an area of 1,578 mu and a total investment of 12 billion yuan, Yuguiyuan Global Scenic Spot Project Group, which was promoted by the autonomous region as a whole, started construction in Liangfeng Science and Technology New Town, Guilin, Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation.
(6) On April 14th, 2011, Chen Jiwa, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, accompanied by the director of the Bureau of Agricultural Reclamation of the Autonomous Region, went deep into Wang Ling Farm, the hometown of carrots in Guangxi, and the Honghe industrial concentration area of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation, and fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made in the development of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation. He also told Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation to seize the opportunity, speed up the development of modern agriculture and characteristic industries, build famous brands, extend the industrial chain, develop circular economy, and further promote and deepen the construction of new countryside in the whole region.
(7) On May 31st, 2011, the mobilization meeting for the renovation of dilapidated houses in Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation was held in Nanning. On behalf of the Working Committee of Agricultural Reclamation, the Bureau of Agricultural Reclamation and the group company, the director signed a letter of responsibility for the renovation of dangerous houses with representatives of various units. This indicates that Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation has taken a new step in accelerating the construction of livelihood projects such as living infrastructure, drinking water projects, health, social security and social welfare, focusing on the renovation of dilapidated buildings. The face of a large number of farms and enterprises in the district will be greatly improved, and the construction of small towns in some farms will begin to effectively connect with the development of local towns and industrial parks, adding new vitality to urban-rural integration.
