The whole tower of Guang Zhouta is a hollow steel structure frame, with 24 steel columns twisted counterclockwise from bottom to top, and the cross section of each member is changing. The columns, beams and braces of the steel frame tube are all in a three-dimensional inclined state, and the twisted steel frame tube is thick up and down and thin in the middle, which brings challenges to the processing, manufacture, installation, construction survey and deformation control of steel structures.
